The duo of Coach Vivian Amarachi Emmanuel and Coach Adenike Ayeni, who have just acquired their CAF C-Licence certificates, have expressed their gratitude on Monday to God Almighty and the Board of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), led by Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa, for their support.
The duo, in a chat with newsmen upon their arrival in Akure, the state capital, disclosed that the financial support received from the Agency was substantial and was instrumental to the success of the three-month CAF C-Licence course held in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
According to them, “The encouragement from the ODSFA Chairman, Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa, and the financial support meant a lot to us.
“We are committed to applying the experience we gathered during the three months that the course lasted to our team.”
While thanking other individuals who contributed to the success of the course, they promised to use the skills acquired to elevate their team, Sunshine Queens.
Before acquiring their newly attained CAF C-Licence certificates, the duo of Vivian Amarachi Emmanuel and Adenike Ayeni were members of the technical crew of Sunshine Queens.
Both are ex-footballers who have played both locally and internationally.
The duo were the only two female coaches selected from Ondo State to participate in the CAF C-Licence course.
“The next step for us is to immediately roll up our sleeves, get back to work, and contribute to the rebuilding of our team, Sunshine Queens,” they concluded.
