Ologunloluwa Commends Voters Over Peaceful LG Polls

Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa, the Chairman, Ondo state Football Agency has commended the peaceful conduct of Saturday’s local government election in the state

Ologunloluwa who spoke with Journalists after casting his vote at his hometown, Itaogbolu, in Akure North Local Government Area of the state said reports which he he got from the 18 council areas and 203 wards shows that, generally, the election was peaceful, free and fair.

He also commended the conduct of the election by Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) noting that the free and fair exercise has further strengthen the democratic process of the state.

His words: “The election is well coordinated and peaceful. We appreciate God for the good weather and violent free process. As you can see, we’re just partying here.

“Unfortunately, PDP withdrew from the race but we would have loved them to contest. Absolutely, PDP is dead in Ondo State.”

He further said, “I am optimistic that my party will win this election. We are not just going to win but we will win massively, overwhelmingly. You can see the massive crowd as if we are doing gubernatorial election.”
