The Ondo State chapter of the Trade Union Congress, TUC, has congratulated workers in the state on yet another Christmas and New Year celebrations.
In his message to members, the State Chairman of the congress, Comrade Clement Fatuase expressed joy that workers witnessed a joyous celebration in spite some daunting challenges of the passing year as occasioned by the fuel subsidy removal across the country.
He lauded the state government for numerous measures put in place to assuage the situation for the workers.
He particularly appreciated the state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, the Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele and the Special Adviser on Union Matters, Mr Dare Aragbaye for their roles, saying labour had never had it that good in recent past.
Fatuase therefore called on workers to reciprocate the gesture by positing themselves for more commitment to service in coming year 2024.
