The deputy governor of Ondo state, Dr. Olayide Adelami, has sent a congratulatory message to Prophet Babatunde Okeyomi, the Baba Aladura of the Holy Fountain of C&S Church, Orimolade Worldwide, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a man of uncommon humility and unflinching courage.
In a press statement by his Spokesperson, John Paul Akinduro, the deputy governor acknowledged the immense contributions of Prophet Okeyomi to good governance and community development.
“Prophet Okeyomi, popularly known by the sobriquet “Carry-go” has a long history of progressive political alignment, right from his time as a frontline member of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) to his total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and every progressive agenda” the deputy governor recalled.
Dr. Adelami commended his tireless efforts at promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration by deepening engagement at the grassroots and rallying stakeholders to renew their commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He further lauded Prophet Okeyomi’s social impact on his immediate community and across the country, through his non-profit organization, which he said has put smiles on the faces of the vulnerable groups.
The deputy governor prayed for continued divine strength for Prophet Okeyomi as he leads the church of God, and contribute to the development of Ondo state.
