Ondo Deputy Governor Celebrates Engr Bello At 50

The deputy governor of Ondo state, Dr. Olayide Adelami, has felicitated Engr. Abosede Abiola Bello on the occasion of her 50th birthday.

Speaking at a thanksgiving service held in honour of the celebrant at the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, Bishop’s Court, Owo, Dr. Adelami described Engr. Bello as a kind-hearted woman whose passion for the development of her immediate community of Owo remains unmatched.

A seasoned administrator and certified engineer, Engr. Bello currently serves as an Assistant Director at the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

The Deputy Governor noted that her professional journey reflects excellence, discipline and an unwavering commitment to service.

He added that her contributions to national development through her work at TETFund have significantly impacted the education sector and inspired many young professionals, particularly women pursuing careers in engineering and public administration.

He further highlighted that as a distinguished alumna of University of Ilorin, where she studied Civil Engineering up to the PhD level, Engr. Bello has consistently demonstrated academic brilliance and professional distinction.

Dr. Adelami also commended Engr. Bello as a worthy ambassador of Ondo state who has represented the state with dignity and honour in every capacity she has served.

He prayed for continued good health, greater accomplishments and many more years of impactful service to humanity and the nation as she celebrates this remarkable milestone.

In his homily, the Bishop of Owo Anglican Diocese, Rt. Rev’d Stephen Fagbemi, extolled the virtues of Engr. Bello, and commended her unwavering support for the community and the Church.

The service was attended by the wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Abosede Adelami; the Elemure of Emure-Ile, Oba Bankole Adeyefa; the Oniyere of Iyere, Oba Alaba Adako; staff of TETFund; clergymen; and other dignitaries.
