12th anniversary: Ondo Deputy Governor Felicitates Light in Darkness Ministry

Dr Olayide Adelami, deputy governor of Ondo state, has congratulated the shepherd-in-charge and the entire faithful of the Light in Darkness Ministry, Akure, on the 12th anniversary of the church.

Speaking at a thanksgiving service to celebrate the anniversary on Sunday, the deputy governor saluted the tenacity of the team and equally celebrated them on the many wins they have recorded over the years.

He said, “It is not easy to run the affairs of a church for over a decade. I want to appreciate God in the lives of the Shepherd-in-charge, his family and the entire faithful of the Light in Darkness ministry. Truly, I can see that the Lord has been faithful to you”

Citing the book of Ephesians 4:16, Adelami observed how the different departments in the church are being well coordinated to achieve optimal result.

He thanked the church for their collaboration with the state government in terms of prayers and other support in maintaining law and order in the state.

In his sermon, the Shepard-in-charge, Rev. Ajibola Fagboyegun, harped on transformation and living n accordance with the will of God.

He further spoke on being born again with the Holy Spirit. Fagboyegun described transformation “as a process of continuing to live our daily lives in conformity with the will of God”

The Shepard-in-charge acknowledged God for sustaining the ministry all through its 12 years of existence.
