Aderemi Returns as Ondo State TAMPAN Governor… Ologbese Emerges First Female Deputy

Kamala Aderemi  on Thursday returned as Governor of Ondo State chapter of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).

Aderemi returned unopposed as the Governor  to pilot the affair of the association for another four years  having already served a term of four years in office.

Meanwhile, former treasurer of the association ,Chief Mrs Fedekemi Ologbese polled 28votes to defeat her opponent, Akinnusi Fisayo who was the Immidiate past Financial Secretary to become first woman Deputy Governor since the formation of the association.

Olaiya Olaoluwa  defeated Boluwaji Ademo 27 -24 votes to be elected as Organizing Secretary while Mercy  Akinlosolu and Orogbemi Ilemobayo were elected Treasurer and Provost Marshall after beating their rivals Badmus Idowu and Ojo Sesan Olaniyi 27-25 and 27-25 votes respectively. Other officials returned unopposed are;  Oyedele Olabode Luke, State  Secretary; Omotunmise Nelson Iseoluwa, State Assistant Secretary; Alade Yakubu Ayinde, Financial Secretary, Adenuga King Akinsanya, Public Relations Officer; Oluwafemi Oyeleye Jacob, Social Secretary;  and Ogunleye Ebenezer,  State Auditor. 

In his acceptance speech, Kamala Aderemi promised  to use his knowledge, experience and network to improve the association in the state.

He expressed gladness over his return as the state TAMPAN Governor and thanked members of the association for stood by him.

The elated  elected Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs Ologbese expressed optimism that the new  Executive Committee will take  entertainment sector in the state  to the next level.
