The Chairman planning committee of Adu Cubana Unity Cup, Raymond Abdulsalam has commended the sponsor of the competition, Hon.Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu for his passion for Grassroots Football Development.
Abdulsalam added that Adu zeal for the development of youth in Ondo State is a second to none, saying he has been practically demonstrating his love for the upliftment of the youths without segregation.
He said: Adu (CUBANA) must be praised for all he has been doing to improving the living standard of many families through his empowerment drive, I pray the opportunity to pay him back for his good deeds come soonest.
He prayed God to give him more strength to be able to do more for humanity, adding that Ondo State people will not forget Adu’s contribution to the catch them young of the government policy which will be manifesting in the next few years.
The Chairman added that Adu had given crested jerseys and balls to all the participating teams in the Adu Unity Cup, with promised of establishing one of its kind football Academy in Akure, the state capital.
“He is a philanthropist,masses lover that give willingly without looking back, this ongoing Adu Cubana Unity Cup will no doubt unearth budding talents that will bring glory to not only Ondo state but Nigeria at large.”
“I’m confident this competition will once again put the name of Ondo State on a world map, with all the arrangements to bring a world class FIFA Agent to scout for outstanding players. Few names have been put down for possible transfer either locally or internationally in just four matches played in the Adu Cubana Unity Cup.”
“Ondo State people will not be ungrateful to you when the time comes, we will all come out to testify to how caring you are to the downtrodden”.
