Akure North Ready To Host Aiyedatiwa/Adelami Monday -Ologunloluwa

The Director General of the Aiyedatiwa/Adelami Campaign Council team for the Akure North Local Government Area of the State, Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa, has charged residents in its communities to support the governor’s election bid at the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in the state.

Ologunloluwa said this during ward sensitisation/courtesy visits to communities and towns under the local government.

The Aiyedatiwa/Adelami campaign comes up in Akure North on Monday (Nov.4).

The 2-day campaign tour of the Akure North council area saw the team led by its Director General, Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa visit Ita-ogbolu and Iju communities.

The DG said the campaign tour was necessary to sensitise the people on the need to garner support for the party.

Ologunoluwa, called for more collaborative efforts between wards and units in the local government area.

“Aiyedatiwa is the answer to all our yearnings, our people know this, and they have keyed into the Aiyedatiwa/Adelami project. Akure North is one hundred percent cent ready for this project before, during and after election,” he said.

The campaign team, who received a warm welcome from ward chairmen and members of the Igbatoro, Ogbese, Eleyeowo, Ilu Abo, Oba Ile, Igoba, and Isinigbo communities in the Akure North Local Government area, urged ward members to canvass more support for the party.

According to Ologunoluwa, it is in preparation for the visitation of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to the various wards in the local government.

Also speaking, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Saka Ogunleye, rebuffed the narrative that residents of the Ita-ogbolu and Iju communities would rather go to their farms on Election Day.

Describing the tour to wards in Akure North as a “John the Baptist preparation” for the governor’s arrival, the state commissioner for youths and sports, Saka Ogunleye, urged residents to vote for the party’s candidate.

The party’s Acting Chairman of Akure North Local Government area, Mr Victor Ayodele, assured of the party’s victory at the polls.

A prominent party leader in the council area, Mr Sunday Falae, said thr good work of the governor will translate into victory for the party.

On his part, the chairman of Akure North Local Government Council, Chief Tayo Fayanju, noted that the tour was about sensitising the people.

The Vice Chairman of Akure North Transition Committee, Aduke Adewole, said that APC has a solid support base in the local government, which assured them of victory at the polls.

The chairperson of Ward 5 Igoba, Akande Modupe, expressed assurance that the party would win at the polls due to the collaborative effort of the wards in Akure North.

The ogbolu of Ita-ogbolu, Oba Idowu Faborode gave his support and prayed for the visiting campaign team.
