A Sociopolitical organization,Atunluse initiatives has urged the Ondo State Governor, Hon.Lucky Aiyedatiwa to assemble best brains that will help him drive a people oriented government.
Chairman of the organization, Otunba Akinsola Akinbobola stated this during their maiden monthly executive meeting held 7th Jan; in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
He stressed that the Governor need the support of all and sundry to enable him concentrate on how to make life meaningful and comfortable for the masses. Distractions should be discontinued.
Akinbobola added that Atunluse Initiatives will continually be giving needed sensitisation and orientation to the citizens in order for the state to choose good and credible leader as the 2024 Governorship election beckons in Ondo State.
He said: “Atunluse is known for its active role in the state political landscape, which makes us one of the leading organizations in the South West Nigeria with its members cut across all profession,tribe, clan and has their members in all the nooks and crannies in the state”.
“Atunluse will embark on strategies to strengthen the group’s grassroot influence beyond Ondo State and contribute to the South West development, communities and organizations will be more engaged in promoting good governance in the state.”
The Director General of the organization, Elder Sikiru Adetona, while commending the leadership of the group for their steadfastness and doggedness in moving the group forward announced the appointment of a new Secretary for the group’s media team and also a new Youth Leader for the group.
The duo are Comrade Segun Famesa and Comrade Okoli Thankgod as media committee secretary and Egbe Atunluse Youth Leader respectively.
The Director General charged the new appointees to swing into action immediately and give their best in the interest of the group and Ondo state.
Atunluse will not compromise it’s commitment to the development of Ondo State as is evident in their various initiatives and programs aimed at empowering the people and driving positive change, they will continue to play a vital role in shaping the socio political landscape in the South West region.
