Former Nigeria Junior Basketball player and captain Ondo king’s basketball, James Olabode has been certified as a basketball agent.

Olabode James disclosed this in a chat with newsmen from his base in Switzerland.
Olabode added that the achievement was a long time ambition not only to have a deep knowledge and the rudiments of the game of dunk and slam but also to provide advise,guide, technical prowess and more opportunities for talented Nigerian Basketball players to legitimately plied their trade in abroad.
Olabode who played in several basketball clubs in countries such as France,Spain, Philippines UAE, Turkey among others, lamented the poor management of basketball players by some unprofessional agents which inspired him to get certification.
The former national team player however promised to bring more Innovation to the existing basketball development in Nigeria and also organised different competition for girls and boys in Nigeria with the input of other capable and experienced basketball instructors to get the best out of the players.
When asked of what importance will his new status impact Nigeria basketball development,Olabode promised to use his wealth of experience to collaborate with other coaches and agents to further promote basketball and also build a strong partnership with investors in European countries, attracting them to Nigeria which he described as a hub for raw talents.
Olabode while applauding the Nigeria basketball federation, also challenged them to be consistent in the various domestic competition to ignite confidence,passion among the indigenous players.
Olabode recently participated in a six month coaching class in Geneva and recieved his agent certification from the notable and Famous National Basketball Association NBA camp in Switzerland.
