Students and young people from across the Ondo East/West Federal Constituency gathered in large numbers for the B.O.D Campus Groove, an event that combined entertainment, cultural celebration and youth empowerment.
The event showcased the energy, creativity and talents of young people, providing a platform for participants to engage, connect and express themselves through various activities.
Speaking at the gathering, Bolaji Omotayo Daramola (BOD) encouraged youths to recognise their immense potential and strive for excellence through education, hard work and determination.
He stressed the importance of creating opportunities that enable young people to compete successfully at the highest levels.
According to him, the future of society depends largely on the investments made in young people today, noting that access to quality education, mentorship and support systems remains critical to their development.
The event also highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the Ondo Kingdom, with displays aimed at promoting local traditions and reinforcing the importance of preserving cultural identity while preparing younger generations for future challenges and opportunities.
Daramola said empowering young people goes beyond fulfilling a social responsibility, describing it as a strategic pathway towards building stronger communities and fostering sustainable development.
He reaffirmed his commitment to youth development and people-centred leadership, saying these principles continue to guide his vision for the Ondo East/West Federal Constituency.
The B.O.D Campus Groove concluded on a high note, with participants expressing enthusiasm about the initiative and its focus on celebrating talent, culture and the potential of the constituency’s youth population.
