
Inhabitants of Adaja, Bolaji,Oke Opa 1,Oke Opa 2, Otalupe and Osun,in Ondo East Local Government have thanked the Former national assembly member, who represented Ondo East/ West at the green chamber, Hon Joseph Iranola, Akinlaja for rescuing the community from land grabbers.

According to the Adele of Iwori land, Chief Abiodun Awonegan “it is with great joy, gratitude and appriciation that we express our immeasurable gratitude to Hon. Joseph Iranola, Akinlaja, for his dauntless efforts in rescuing us from the hands of land grabbers who illegally destroyed all our houses, property and occupy all our lands and the territories left behind by our forefathers.”

“It is also disheartening how we were made homeless by these heartless individuals.”
The communities affected by the demolition are as follows; Adaja 2 houses, Bolaji 14 houses,Oke Opa 1,10 oke opa2,10 houses, Otalupe, 10 houses, Osun 18 houses, in all over 70 houses are demolished which include the house of the father our late Oba His royal majesty Ibidapo Adesanoye
Awonegan said: “If Ondo state can have more personalities like you fighting for their people , not minding your age and status in the society, the suffering of the masses would have been forgotten.”
Other leaders in the communities includes; Chief Tayelolu Awobeunnu, Oluwasina Adetokunbo.
