FABULOUS MINDS SOCIAL CLUB CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE AT CHILDREN’S HOME IN AKURE

Ondo State based FABULOUS MINDS SOCIAL CLUB of Nigeria has donated food items and some other essential commodities to the Children’s Home in Akure as part of celebration of the 62nd year of the country’s existence.

President of the Club,Engr OLUGBENGA KHADRI said as people were celebrating with their friends,family and loved ones the club decided to give the children a chance to be part of the celebrations.

Khadri, while speaking with newsmen after the gesture said that although things might not be going as planned in the country, the children must be given the chance to survive in other to also achieve greatness in life.

“Today is October first, we are happy that Nigeria is a year older, even though things are not happening the way we want, but we are very hopeful that Nigeria will get better hence the need for our gesture which will go a long way in encouraging others”

” As the president of Fabolous Minds Social Club we deemed it fit to celebrate these children because they also must be given a chance to survive,” he said.

VICE PRESIDENT OF THE CLUB MR SUNKANMI ADERELE, said the spirit behind the donation was to support the children in there own little way.

Aderele said the gesture would not end with the donation to the children’s home alone as the club has other plans in terms of charity donations.

“Infact as I speak with you there are other plans on ground for the club to reach out to other similar platforms with our widow’s might”

Also present at the event were the Secretary ADEWUNMI AKEREDOLU and other members of the club.

The Fabulous Minds Social Club of Nigeria was formed in 2021 in Akure with people from different walks of life coming together with the same creative ideologies.

The Present crop of Excos in the club led by Engineer Gbenga Khadri will mark their first year in office on October 16 with many more activities lined up to mark the occasion.
