The Coordinator, Ondo Peace and Safety Corps, Youths Ambassador and a stalwart of All Progressive Congress party (APC) Comrade Felix Akinmoladun popularly called Fela Popo had debunked the rumour going round that he’s about to join the opposition party People’s Democratic Party.
This is why Comrade Felix Akinmoladun came openly to deny the allegation as baseless, unfounded and figment of imagination from distractors who are fond of rumour mongering.
This was disclosed by Fela Popo the Youth Ambassador in the kingdom while addressing the press at the Civic Centre yesterday.
Though the rumour had been going around for a while but when calls from prominent leaders of our great party were coming in, from all angles, hence the need to retract the news in the open remain inevitable.
Though, the marginalisation from some quarters in the party, lack of expected recognition that some leadership of the party could not afford among other issues the youth ambassador identified to have caused such move but he remains resolute and determined to be loyal to the leaders and leadership of the party, and with little or nothing to show as benefits could have prompted such decisions but “I remained an APC leader and a committed one indeed.
For the recored purpose, I did not have the intention to join PDP as a party Fela Popo said.
Therefore, he implored all party faithfuls to disregard the news and put all hands on deck to support APC as a party in Ondo state and vote the flag bearer His Excellency Hon Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa to be victorious come 16th November 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
