The Chairman of Ondo State Stadium boys, Robert Tolulope (Romeo) has declared that he aligned with majority in the state who wholeheartedly supported ‘No TO HUNGER PROTEST’.
Tolulope in a chat with newsmen in Akure, the state capital said he and his group do not support the hunger protest in Ondo State.
He said he didn’t support the protest because it might be hijacked by the men of the underworld to perpetrate their evil acts and destroy public and government properties .
He conceded that the current situation needed to be addressed by the government at all levels, advising the organisers of the Hunger protest to embrace dialogue rather than protest that can be hijacked.
According to him, “the experience of the 2020 Endsars protest is still fresh in our memories, where innocent people were killed and many infrastructures also destroyed.
“Lots of Ondo school shuttle buses were burnt to ashes, police station, filling stations were also set ablaze.
“While appealing to the organizers of the protest to embrace dialogue and put their grievances in black and white, I urge government at all levels to holistically address the current hardship facing Nigerians,” he said .
