The management of the Ijapo-based team described the former Sunshine Stars player as an exceptional football enthusiast and a true pillar of unity.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the club’s President and Secretary, Femi Atolagbe and Olaleke Karimu (Bora).
“We celebrate not just the anniversary of your birth, but a lifetime of dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the beautiful game and the community it brings together.

“Your influence continues to resonate on and off the pitch, and your legacy remains firmly rooted in service, excellence, and integrity, both as an active player and as the pioneer coordinator of the Sunshine Stars U-19 team.
“On this special day, may you be blessed with continued good health, renewed strength, and abundant joy. May your days ahead be filled with peace, fulfillment, and even greater accomplishments.
“As you celebrate, know that your impact is deeply appreciated and your leadership profoundly valued.”
