Inauguration : Atunluse Initiatives Congratulates Aiyedatiwa/ Adelami… Harps On Inclusive Governance

 

Atunluse Initiatives has called on Ondo State Governor,Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa to adopt an all inclusive governance approach that will involve quality individuals that will prioritise welfare and development of all indigenous .

The organisation added that inclusive governance will guarantee fairness, equity development and progress across all sectors.

This is contained in a Communique issued at the Atunluse Initiatives meeting held in Akure the state capital.

Atunluse Initiatives extends its heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Hon. Lucky  Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy ,Dr.Olayide Adelami on their inauguration as the new Executive Governor and Deputy Governor of Ondo State. The group wishes him a very successful tenure in office.

The organisation congratulates women globally on the successful celebration of International Women’s Day, with special recognition for the women of Ondo State in particular. The group acknowledges their invaluable contributions to societal growth and development, it calls for greater empowerment and adequate opportunities for women.

According to the Communique, “the group calls for the immediate resolution of the ongoing dispute between Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio. Egbe Atunluse warns against allowing the conflict to escalate into a major political crisis within the Senate in particular and Nigeria in general, it urges urgent dialogue for a peaceful resolution.”

“It also calls on security agencies in Ondo State to take decisive action in addressing the growing menace of kidnapping in various parts of the state. The group emphasizes the need for proactive measures to restore safety and security for all residents.

“The group resolves to conduct an objective assessment of the Ondo State government’s performance after six months in office. This evaluation will serve as a basis for constructive engagement for the improvement of the well-being of the people of Ondo state.”

“It announces plans to host a Love Feast in April to commemorate both Easter and Eid-el-Fitr. The event aims to foster unity, celebrate cultural and religious harmony, and extend love and support to widows and less-privileged individuals across Ondo State”.
