By John Kayode

The Ondo State Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, has called on civil servants in the state to avail themselves of the opportunity of Tuesday’s work-free day to collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards, PVC.
In a statement made available on Monday from his office, Pastor Ogundele charged workers to visit their respective Polling Units to collect their PVCs in preparation for the forthcoming general elections to enable them exercise their franchise.
According to him, civil servants should participate in the electioneering process and vote for candidates of their choice and that would only be possible if they obtain their Voter’s Cards ahead.
The HoS appreciated the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON for granting a Work-Free day for the workers without which it would have been difficult for them to collect the PVCs given the limited number of days before the end of the collection exercise.
He therefore enjoined all civil servants to go to the respective polling units where they registered for the collection and get ready for the polls.
