The Ondo State Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele has described as a welcome development, the emergence of the state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Sunday Adeleye as the National Vice President of the Congress.
Pastor Ogundele, in a congratulatory message he personally signed, said Adeleye’s emergence did not come as a surprise given his antecedents in labour unionism both at the state and national levels.
Comrade Sunday Adeleye Oluwole, at the 13th National Quadrennial Delegates Conference of the Nigeria Labour Congress, held between 7th and 8th February 2023 in Abuja, was elected through a consensus, the National Vice President of Congress.
Ogundele expressed optimism that Adeleye’s wealth of experience would be of immense assistance for him to deliver in his new task as the National Vice President.
Describing him as a pride to the Ondo State Civil Service, Ogundele charged him to be a good ambassador of the state in his new office.
Recall, Comrade Sunday Adeleye Oluwole had served as the state’s Joint Negotiation Council, NJC, Chairman, current state Chairman of the state NLC and also the National President of the Senior Civil Service Union, NCSU
