A prominent indigene of Ondo State, Mr Alaba Joseph Akinlaja has joined other notable Nigerians to felicitate with Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, on his 99th birthday, praising his uncommon dedication, remarkable life, and bequest to public service, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others.
Akinlaja, in a press statement personally signed by him on Saturday, said despite Pa Fasoranti’s achievements and stature, he remains humble and unassuming, without seeking to draw attention to himself.
“As Baba marks this significant milestone, we honor his contributions to our nation and our community.”
“His guidance, counsel, and unwavering support have been a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration to us all.
“As you celebrate this milestone birthday, we remember your tireless efforts to make our world a better place. Your selfless sacrifice and compassion have inspired countless individuals to follow in your footsteps.
“We salute your dedication to public service, your unwavering commitment to justice, and your unrelenting passion for equality. Your legacy is a testament to the power of kindness, empathy, and courage.”
“I am proud to say that your values and principles have guided my political journey and inspired us to strive for excellence. Your influence has been a blessing to me and to the lives of many,” Akinlaja said.
“Once again, happy 99th birthday, Pa Fasoranti. May your life continue to be a source of inspiration and a beacon of hope for generations to come,” the statement read.
