The Ondo State Council of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) has congratulated Nigerians and members of the union as the country celebrates its 66th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message jointly signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Olufemi Dairo, and the State Secretary, Comrade Aderonke Adeboboye, the union urged its members to use the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s journey since independence and renew their commitment to national development.
The union acknowledged the sacrifices made by previous generations in building the country, while calling for a peaceful, united, prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
According to the statement, RATTAWU members should continue to uphold the values of unity, solidarity, mutual respect, hard work and service to humanity in their various workplaces.

“As members of RATTAWU which always seek progress, let us continue to uphold the values of unity, solidarity, mutual respect, hard work, and service to humanity,” the statement said.
The Ondo State Council also expressed hope that Nigeria would continue to experience peace and prosperity, while the aspirations of the country’s workforce would become a reality.
