As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) prepares to launch its continuous voter registration on August 18, 2025, Mrs. Tomisin Edu-Falade, a frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives aspirant for Akure North/South Federal Constituency in Ondo State, has issued a passionate appeal for party members to participate vigorously.
She stated that the exercise is pivotal for expanding the APC’s membership and strengthening its electoral foundation ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In a statement released on Saturday, Edu-Falade underscored the critical importance of the registration drive, urging APC supporters to mobilize extensively to enroll new voters and assist those who have lost their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) or relocated.
“This is a defining moment to solidify our party’s influence. I call on all APC members, especially in Akure North and South, to turn out in full force, encouraging citizens without PVCs, those who have relocated, or those who have misplaced their cards to register.
“This will showcase our unity and determination to secure a resounding mandate in 2027,” she declared.
The founder, TEF Foundation stressed the necessity of upholding electoral integrity, warning against actions that could jeopardize the process.
“We must ensure this exercise is transparent and credible”
Commending the APC leadership for their thorough preparations, Edu-Falade expressed confidence in the party’s ability to execute a flawless registration process. She urged members to comply fully with INEC’s regulations, reinforcing the APC’s commitment to discipline and cohesion.
“I am rallying our party to win the trust of new voters, including those without PVCs or who have relocated.
“This effort will forge a formidable electoral base to advance the aspirations of Akure North/South in the 2027 elections,” Edu-Falade stated
