Tubaba Football Scouting Academy Network to Host 4-Day Scouting Programme in Akure

Oluwatope Ayokunle, Chief Executive Officer of Tubaba Football Scouting Academy Network, Nigeria (TFSANN), on Friday disclosed that his organization has put all machinery in place to stage a 4-day scouting programme in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The former secretary and Publicity of Sunshine Stars revealed that eight teams are expected to participate in the event, which is scheduled to be held at the Ondo State Sports Complex and sponsored by Henry 707 Sports Limited.

The current Public Relation Officer of Inspire Sports Academy International Lagos, and experienced Scouting consultant speaking to newsmen in Akure, noted that the upcoming tournament will mark the organization’s 17th edition.

According to him, “The scouting programme has produced many great footballers who are currently playing both within and outside the country. We will not relent in our efforts to continue hunting for budding talents, which is why we decided to bring the programme to Ondo State.”

The eight teams will be divided into two groups, each playing three matches. Winners of each group will advance to the final, while exceptional players discovered during the competition will be moved to Lagos for final evaluation.

Prizes for the tournament include N100,000 for the winner, N50,000 for the runner-up, N30,000 for third place, and N20,000 for the highest goal scorer.
