Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Ondo Central Senatorial District, Bashorun Ifedayo Adedipe (SAN), has urged Nigerians to vote candidate with credibility and ideas into power.
Adedipe stated this at a media parley held in Akure on Monday. He said only creative ideas that can change the ugly trend in Nigeria, saying he joined politics because he was not satisfied with the way things are being run in the country particularly at the national assembly.
According to him, “Legislative duty is about lobbying and influencing. If voted as a senator representing Ondo Central, I will influence government policies for the betterment of people of my society.”
He added that it’s imperative for all and sundry to come together and build a nation, adding that the current structure is just a country with many nationalities.
“I am prepared for the job ahead, I have benefitted a lot from the country and this is the time for me to give back to the people. I will not disappoint myself and the people. I will not be an Abuja senator, I believe in regular consultation, I will ensure I engage my constituents regularly so that we can at all time be on same pages”. Adedipe reiterated.
The PDP Senate candidate said we need a nation that will be guided by common law and, have concessus on issues of national interest.
