We Are Deprived Of Palliative, Oluseyi Community Cries Out

The Oluseyi Community in Esure Quarter’s , off ljoka Road in Akure with a massive population has been deprived of her rightful share out of the Palliative offered by the Ondo State Govt to cushion the effect of the surge in fuel and escalating hike in prices of Commodity.

This deprivation is inimical to the welfare of the inhabitants of the community hence the need to cry out to the government to re- appraise the activities of the committee handling the palliative

According to the chairman of the Community Pastor S.O Ojo, “the letter forwarded to the committee and despatched through Mr.Gbenga Dada, a member of the community was turned down for unknown reasons.”

Welfare is one of the responsibilities of the Government and while appreciating the vision of government in alleviating the hard times and pains of the citizenry, l think it is abnormal for any group of people to sabotage the efforts of government in this odd time

“I want to appeal to the relevant organ of government monitoring the palliative to give succour and touch the lives of those who are to benefit from the palliative.”

“We are conscious of our rights and if our appeal is not addressed, we shall resort to legal means to receive what is rightfully meant for our community.”

S.O.Ojo

Chairman, Oluseyi landlord & residents Association.
