Young Women Group For Aiyedatiwa Distributes Food Items To 100 Market Women

Odatiwa Youth and Young Woman Structure for Good Governance has distributed food items to 100 market women as part of efforts to create awareness for the emergence of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State.

The National Coordinator of the Group, Coordinator EHO Grace Aderonke Atoyebi, said the distribution of the food item was to show solidarity and support to the ambition of the governor.

Atoyebi said the group believed that it was only Aiyedatiwa that could deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of the state.

According to her, women believe in the quality of leadership shown by the governor in the short time he has taken over the reins of government in the state.

She added that the essence of the distribution of food items was also to strategize and get feelers on how the market women would support Aiyedatiwa before and after the APC primary.

Atoyebi used the opportunity to appreciate those who supported the project financially; Hon. Joseph Ikumawoyi, Former Special Adviser on Public and intergovernmental relations, Hon. Bunmi Ademosun and Special Adviser on gender to the Ondo State Governor, Hon Olamide Falana.

Also, she appreciated the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

“We are here today, to distribute food items to market women, as solidarity for our governor, we know the economy is good so to say, and to also get support and show out loyalty,” she said.

The beneficiaries in their numbers appreciated the group for the gesture and for remembering them.
