History is truly a record of events and posterity will speak to the worth of individuals in life.
Iam delighted to hear about the restoration of Rugipo staff school and particularly the good efforts of the present Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic,Owo under the headship of Mr.Adegun Simon Olorunwa.
It would be recalled that during the tenure of your immediate predecessor the thriving Staff School was scrapped and few of the workforce thrown to the labour market.
Many other inhuman and evil policies came during his time as many workers were unjustifiably demoted and ridiculous percentage salary payment of 10%, 30% and atimes 70% became the order of the day.
In the face of this ridiculous payments, there were illegal appointments with no recourse to due process.
The bible is complete, when a God fearing man rules, the people will rejoice.During this time, staffers turned to beggars and social misfits.The only good thing about his time appears to be on Tetfund intervention with mutual benefits- to his purse and some identified infrastructures
A tree is known by its fruits.I know that having murdered sleep, hardly would he be able to sleep even on retirement.
Engr.Borniface Ologunagba exit the office than to allow a closure of the then staff school and a massive sack of the workers.His decision then has now come to play as a man with a Godly mind.Engr.Borniface Ologunagba, your root will never lack water.
God will always stand by the righteous and today Ologunagba can walk freely to the Polytechnic while the Machiavellian erstwhile rector has no courage to do so.The evil that men do lives after them.
Adegun Simon Olorunwa, you have taken a better step on the restoration of the staff school.You can go further to bring smiles to the faces of all the sacked workers by recalling them.
Whichever method you use,kindly go ahead to touch lives positively for the sake of posterity.
Since your assumption in office, you have not for once paid a % salary , the difference between you and your former boss is clear in this area.- kudos to you.
Why is Rugipo owing so much gratuity to her retired workers?.Try within your tenure to make retirees smile for a good history.
The financial leakages in the institution can still be nipped in the bud if you begin this way and use the right people.
There are obvious financial leakages .The recent audit exercise should be able to open up these leakages and if not an effort is in the offing to expose these leakages and to also probe the NIPOGA illegal deals.The record on proceeds on NIPOGA GAMES held in the institution few years back are still fresh in memory.
It is good to create positive history, Adegun Simon Olorunwa, seek for divine wisdom , get investors to develop the school and make the Unions friendly for a cordial relationship.
You can do more with self examination for a productive tenure.
