Barr. Adebiyi Alex-Adedipe has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate this year’s Eid El-Kabir festival, with special greetings to Muslims in Akure North and South Federal Constituency.
In his goodwill message marking the sacred celebration, the House of Representatives aspirant for Akure North/South Federal Constituency joined families and communities in commemorating Eid El-Kabir, a festival that symbolizes faith, sacrifice, obedience, and devotion to Almighty Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
Barr. Alex-Adedipe noted that the occasion reflects enduring values such as love, compassion, generosity, humility, and selfless service to humanity.
He urged Nigerians to use the festive period as an opportunity for reflection and renewed commitment to peace, unity, and national development.
“Let this season inspire us to pray fervently for lasting peace, unity, and progress in our constituency, Ondo State, and Nigeria as a whole. We must embrace tolerance, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and support initiatives that promote collective development, regardless of religious or political affiliations,” he said.
According to him, the true essence of sacrifice extends beyond the slaughtering of rams, stressing that citizens must also sacrifice selfishness, hatred, and division for the greater good of society.
“May the blessings of this holy celebration fill every home with joy, renew hope in our communities, and strengthen our collective resolve to build a better and more prosperous society for future generations,” Barr. Alex-Adedipe added.
He wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous, spiritually fulfilling, and memorable Eid El-Kabir celebration.
Eid Mubarak!
