Akinbobola stated this after he casted his Vote at Ward 11, unit one, Fagun, in Ondo West local government.
The former Special Adviser on Political and Mobilization matters to the immediate past Government of Ondo State, under the leadership of Dr Olusegun Mimiko admonished Nigerians to troop out in their numbers and be law abiding in casting their votes for the candidate of their choice.
He said: “God dethrones and enthrones, therefore we should do away with any form of thuggery, hooliganism and criminality during and after the elections.”
“We should not allow the outcome of the election to divide us or lead to crisis of any sort.
“As i enjoin the eventual winners to be magnanimous in victory, I also appealed to the runner ups to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship.
“Let us pray that this election will raise leaders that will have compassion for humanity development of our society and fear of God” he said.
