Hon. Dr Adeyemi Olayemi, the former Chief Whip of the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Owo Constituency 2, has extended his warm congratulations to Muslim faithfuls as they celebrate Eid el-Kabir.

This was in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen today expressed his wishes for abundant blessings, peace, and progress for the people of the State.

Olayemi,also known as KOKO, used the occasion of the celebration to call upon well-wishers and citizens of Ondo State to join him in offering fervent prayers for the swift recovery of the state’s esteemed Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON.
He said that Governor Akeredolu, known for his unwavering commitment to the development of Ondo State, has positively impacted countless lives through his visionary leadership.
Olayemi urged everyone to keep the governor in their thoughts and prayers, hoping for his swift regaining of strength to continue steering the state towards greater heights.
“In the absence of Governor Akeredolu, I must commend the Acting Governor, Honorable Lucky Orimisan AIYEDATIWA, for his dedication, loyalty, and exemplary service to the people of Ondo State.
“Throughout his tenure as Acting Governor, Hon. AIYEDATIWA has demonstrated a profound understanding of governance and a sincere desire to foster peaceful coexistence among various stakeholders in the state,” he said.
Olayemi called upon all citizens to support the Acting Governor and provide him with the necessary cooperation to ensure a smooth administration during this interim period.
Expressing concern over individuals who channel their energies toward negative activities, Olayemi called on naysayers within the government to redirect their efforts towards positive and developmental activities in the state.
He emphasized the importance of working together to build a prosperous state that provides opportunities for all its citizens.
“Let me express my deepest appreciation to all residents of Ondo State for their unwavering support, understanding, and cooperation,” he added.
Olayemi highlighted the collective strength that lies within the community and urged everyone to overcome any obstacles in order to create a brighter future for future generations.
