“Of a truth, Rt. Hon. Gbajabiamila deserves huge applause for his sterling and outstanding contributions to nation-building.
“Any keen observer of governance in Nigeria for well over a decade in Nigeria cannot deny or fail to recognize the sundry roles and efforts of the Chief of Staff to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in not just deepening our democratic experience as a country but also in propelling the country to greater heights.
“Ever since his election to the Green Chambers, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has distinguished himself in the true sense of that word.
“He is an embodiment of democratic ethos. A profile in parliamentary excellence.
” A constant illuminating and enlightening voice on the floor of the House. An indefatigable defender of the weak, vulnerable and under-served sections of our society.
“Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila is brilliant, smart, bold, courageous, honest, fair-minded and unwavering in his fidelity to noble causes that elevate our collective aspirations.
“If there is one other thing that distinguishes the current Chief of Staff as a patriot, it is uncommon devotion to progressive politics in Nigeria. His towering frame speaks to his inner strength and enviable character and personality.
“The Chief of Staff is never one to put you in doubt when it comes to where he stands on critical issues relating to nation-building. When others waver, he stands strong on the side of truth and the less privileged,” the statement said.

“It is not surprising therefore that they have kept faith with him and bound their collective destiny to his. It is simply the right call to make.

“In him, the people of Surulere Federal Constituency have found a worthy ally of the finest distinction.
“Like his mentor, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chief of Staff is a man with a passion for human development.

“His legendary contributions to the emergence of Jagaban Borgu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will remain evergreen in the memory of lovers of democracy. It is his credit that he did not repay good with evil but proved to be reliable, dependable, trustworthy and a worthy beneficiary of Asiwaju’s large-heartedness.
“I congratulate Rt. Hon. Femi Hakeem Gbajabiamila on your 61st birthday celebration. May the good Lord continue to show you mercy and kindness, guide, protect and preserve you in amen your ways. Above all, the Lord will bless you with long life and good health,” William concluded.
