Former Ondo Commissioner, Adekanmbi Bags PhD, Inducted As Member, NSE

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Commissioner for Special Duties, Culture and Tourism in Ondo State, Hon Femi Adekanmbi has been inducted as member of the Nigerian Environmental Society ( NES) , Abuja Chapter.

The Nigerian Environmental Society (NES) is a professional, non-profit oriented, non-governmental body which is committed to advocacy and actions towards environmental protection, sustainable environmental development and promotion of environmental professionalism within Nigeria and in the global arena. It is also recognized as the premier environmental society and watchdog of the environment in Nigeria.

Adekanmbi had just completed his PhD in Environmental Management was inducted alongside other notable Nigerians.

Speaking shortly after the induction, Adekanmbi lauded the body for deeming it fit to formally welcome him into the society which has remained the largest environmental NGO in Nigeria and has grown to twenty four branches officially launched in Nigeria.

“The society plays an active role in local and international environmental programs”

The body was inaugurated on October 17, 1985 and actively promotes public understanding and encourage a sound national policy in matters relating to environmental quality control field.

Adekanmbi expressed gratitude to the body, and pledge his commitment to the cause of protecting and showing love to the environment.
