Some of the successful candidates of the successful candidates at the Ondo State SUBEB recruitment documentation are being humiliated and compelled to disclose their sponsors.
According to reports, those without sponsors are immediately turned away without documentation, implying that recruitment is based on ‘who you know’ rather than merit.
One of the candidates who begged to be anonymous,said it appeared that some individuals were being favoured over others, despite the initial selection as successful candidates.
“This is unacceptable, especially considering that the recruitment process should be transparent and fair, like those in Ekiti and Oyo states.
“I urge the public to circulate this information to bring attention to this injustice. It’s essential that His Excellency, Governor Aiyedatiwa, should be aware of these developments, as it reflects poorly on his administration,” he said.
Also, Bankole Adeoye from Odigbo Local Government, Ondo State,also said the actions of the Ondo State SUBEB, under the leadership of Olabimtan, are alarming and require scrutiny.
Adeoye said the blatant disregard for due process is unacceptable and tarnishes the integrity of public service employment in the state.
He urged Aiyedatiwa to investigate and look into the matter as a matter of urgency and not allow one of his appointees to soil his hard earned legacy.
