Prioritize Children’s Rights, Atunluse initiatives Urges Government

As Children across the country celebrate Children’s Day, Atunluse Initiatives has urged Nigerians Government to prioritize the rights, development and welfare of Nigerian children.

Atunluse Initiatives, while Congratulating Children on the 2023 Children’s Day Celebration said “the challenges facing the Nigerian children call for sober reflection”.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen by the Director General of the organisation, Elder Sikiru Adetona said “Children are an heritage from God which we’ earthly Father’s must assume responsibility, love, care and cherish them.”We must build a community where we teach them, guide them, lead them right and provide for them”.

He further expressed the necessity for Government to as a matter of priority embark on programs and policies that will secure the lives and future of every child in the country.

“We pray that the in-coming government, will make the welfare and the general well being of our Children a top priority”

According to the statement, “It’s high time Nigerian leaders, Traditional, Religious and political reflect on the challenges facing these children as they are our tomorrow some of which are unemployment, very poor educational system, high moral decadence, lack of medical care, hunger and deprivation to good life are some of the struggles that Nigerian children are facing hopelessly.

“We should ask our selves, what kind of children are we breeding for the future, with bad governance, corruption and many more.”

“Children are our heritage and future leaders, we must create enabling environment for them to strive in other to be at the same level with their peers across the globe.
