We, the undersigned individuals and organizations, issue this joint press release to formally address and strongly refute the false, misleading, and defamatory statements recently circulated by a group identifying itself as the Ondo State Elegant Youth Forum.
It has come to our attention that this group has made a series of unsubstantiated allegations and publications aimed at tarnishing our personal and collective reputations. These statements are not only inaccurate but appear to be deliberately crafted to misinform the public, damage our integrity, and undermine our longstanding contributions to sports community, youth empowerment, and public service in Ondo State.
We wish to state clearly and unequivocally that:
• The allegations made against us are false, malicious, and unsupported by facts.
• At no time have we engaged in any activity that contradicts the values of transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership which we uphold.
• The publications in question amount to defamation of character and a deliberate attempt to incite public distrust and reputational harm.
We remain committed to peaceful engagement, constructive dialogue, and lawful means of resolving disputes within the sports community. However, we also reserve the right to pursue all appropriate legal remedies should these defamatory actions persist or fail to be retracted with immediate effect.
We call on the Ondo State Elegant Youth Forum to:
1. Immediately cease the dissemination of false and damaging information.
2. Publicly retract all defamatory statements issued against us.
3. Offer a formal apology through the same channels used to spread the misleading publications.
