Ondo State Football Association has congratulated Sunday Abe as he retired from active football after more than 17 years.
The Chairman of the Football Association in the State, Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi, said Abe was everything the current crop of players should emulate.
Dele-Ajayi said he was happy that Sunday Abe was one of the few talents discovered in the state and gave his all for the state-owned team.
The chairman said the entire board member of the Ondo State Football Association are with him and wished him well in his future endeavours.
“We are happy that Sunday Abe gave his all while playing active football, we all see his leadership qualities both on and off the pitch,” he said.
