As Christians across the world celebrates Christmas today, the national Vice President of the Trade Union Congress, TUC, Comrade Kayode Alakija has felicitated with Nigerian workers.
In a message sent to members on social media platforms, Alakija, who doubles as the President of the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies, SSASCGOG, noted that though the year 2023 was full of challenges for workers, he thanked God for seeing members through.
He called for more resilience on the part of the workers as the year 2024 approaches and urged government to do more to better the lots of Nigerian workers.
Alakija therefore called on workers to be moderate in celebration as well as extend love to others as this is the essence of season.
